Important ƹƵ Announcements

From May 30 through July 31, all schools in the ƹƵ County School District will be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30AM-11:30AM and 1:00PM-4:00PM. New student registration is open during these dates and times. The exception will be during the July 4 holiday week of July 3-7, in which all schools will be closed to the public.

The ƹƵ Transportation Department has transitioned to a new bus routing software that is not compatible with the My Stop app. Unfortunately, an app that will provide parents with a bus arrival time will not be available to begin the new school year. Our vendor has indicated that a new app will be available by September at the earliest. As soon as this new app is accessible, we will notify families and assist with its roll out. We apologize for the inconvenience this might cause you and your family.

Petition for High School Diploma

Submit the HB91 petition form to determine the Student’s eligibility to receive a high school diploma pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 20 – 2 – 281.1 based on the graduation requirements in effect when the Student first entered ninth grade. View High School Diploma Form

ESPLOST VI and General Obligation Bonds.

On June 9, 2020, the stakeholders of the ƹƵ County School District voted to approve the extension of ESPLOST and the utilization of general obligation bonds. Both sources now provide funding for the implementation of the district’s 10-Year Facility plan. We are grateful for the community’s trust, and we are excited about moving forward. Community Connection

Our Community Mission
To establish and foster a voluntary cooperative relationship between the school and industry through their mutual adoption of one another and to support and enrich the existence of both.

  • Discover all Fine Arts events for each of our ƹƵ County Schools. The Fine Arts page includes current and upcoming events for each Art, Band, Chorus and Drama Departments.

  • The Honors Mentorship Program is a yearlong class for intellectually gifted or artistically talented 11th and 12th grade students who desire a challenging, enriching, career-based opportunity.

  • Lanier College Career Academy (LCCA) was created in response to an increasing need of the ƹƵ County community in the area of hospitality and tourism, including culinary arts, marketing, and business and resort management.

  • The mission of the Work-Based Learning Program is to assist in providing a highly trained, technologically sophisticated and career oriented young workforce. This is accomplished by developing partnerships between business, industry, students, parents, school systems, coordinators, and post-secondary institutions which will lead the participating student into meaningful careers.
